国际教育学院成立于2004年5月，是学校为实施国际教育发展战略而设立的直属学院。学院曾先后承办了与世界一流名校英国曼彻斯特大学、英国曼彻斯特城市大学、新西兰UNITEC理工学院、韩国启明大学和哈萨克斯坦-英国技术大学的13个中外合作办学本专科项目，致力于引进国外合作高校先进的办学理念、课程和师资等优质资源，通过组织开展项目教学运行、质量监控、学生管理和国际教育协调服务，促进学校的国际化发展。借助中外合作办学项目平台，学校80多名教师和300多名学生赴境外进行了交流与深造，培养了10000多名具有深厚的家国情怀，宽广的国际视野、扎实的专业能力，具备国际竞争力的高素质人才，为学校荣获国家级、省级引进国外智力工作先进集体荣誉称号和国际化竞争力排名位居河南省高校前列发挥了积极作用。2018年9月开始，学院负责来华留学生教育教学管理服务工作，现有来华留学生硕士、本科生约100名，分别来自俄罗斯、巴基斯坦、乌克兰、越南、刚果（布）、乌干达、科特迪瓦、孟加拉国、塔吉克斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦、土库曼斯坦、斯里兰卡等“一带一路”共建国家。学院通过开展丰富多彩的中外文化交流活动，进一步促进中外学生跨文化沟通能力和全球胜任力的培养。

A Brief Introduction to School of International Education

The School of International Education, established in May 2004 as a directly affiliated unit of the university, was founded to implement the university’s international education development strategy. To date, the school has successively launched 13 undergraduate and diploma-level Sino-foreign cooperative education programs in partnership with world-renowned institutions, including the University of Manchester (UK), Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), UNITEC Institute of Technology (New Zealand), Keimyung University (South Korea), and Kazakh-British Technical University (Kazakhstan). Committed to introducing high-quality resources from its international partners—such as advanced educational concepts, curricula, and faculty expertise—the school actively promotes the university’s internationalization through the organization and coordination of teaching operations, quality assurance, student management, and international education services.

Through these Sino-foreign cooperative platforms, over 80 faculty members and more than 300 students have traveled abroad for academic exchanges and further studies. The school has cultivated over 10,000 high-quality talents who possess a strong sense of national commitment, a broad global vision, solid professional competence, and international competitiveness. These efforts have significantly contributed to the university’s recognition as a national and provincial advanced unit for introducing foreign expertise, as well as its ranking among the top universities in Henan Province for international competitiveness.

Since September 2018, the school has taken on the responsibility for the teaching and management services of international students. It currently recruits approximately 100 international master’s and undergraduate students from Belt and Road partner countries, including Russia, Pakistan, Ukraine, Vietnam, the Republic of Congo, Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Sri Lanka. Through a variety of cross-cultural exchange events, the school further enhances the intercultural communication skills and global competence of both Chinese and international students.
