中原工学院与新西兰UNITEC理工学院合作举办建筑工程管理、汽车制造与装配技术和摄影摄像技术专业高等教育专科项目，2007年由河南省教育厅审核批准。
合作外方高校UNINEC理工学院位于新西兰最大最繁华的奥克兰市，是联合国教科文组织大学国际协会成员，由新西兰政府资助，开设有商学、工民建筑、设计、摄影、工程学、应用技术、英语在内的130多门专业课程。该校将传统大学的学术标准与职业技术教育优势相结合，可以使学生从职业技术证书课程通往大专、学士学位、硕士学位和博士学位课程，特色突出，享有良好的声誉。
项目积极引进国外合作高校的课程、教学资料和教学方式等优质教育教学资源，强化英语教学，营造国际交流氛围，为项目学生提供高质量，有特色的教育服务。
项目学生在我校按照合作双方共同制定的培养方案进行学习，成绩合格颁发我校大专毕业证书。英语水平高、学习成绩好、具有一定经济条件的学生，在我校学习两年或三年之后，可以申请到合作高校继续深造，攻读外方授予的本科学士及以上学位。
A Brief Introduction to Cooperative Schoolrunning Project of Zhongyuan University
of Technology and UNITEC Institute of Technology
The cooperation of Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT) and UNITEC Institute of Technology (UNITEC) in holding junior college education projects (Construction Management, Automobile Manufacturing and Assembling Technology, Photography and Video Technology) was approved by Henan Education Department in 2007.
Located in Auckland, the largest and the most prosperous city of New Zealand, UNITEC is a member of IAU (International Association of Universities) of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). Funded by New Zealand government, UNITEC offers more than 130 specialized courses, including business, industrial and civil architecture, designing，photography, engineering, applied technology, English, etc. Combining academic standard of traditional university with the advantages of vocational and technical education, UNITEC enjoys a good reputation for its characteristics which enable students to have access to the courses of junior college, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctor’s Degree.
The project introduces superior education and teaching resources of UNITEC, including courses, teaching materials, teaching methods, etc. It intensifies English teaching and builds international communication atmosphere, which provides the students with highquality and distinctive education.
Studying according to the cultivating program formulated by the two cooperative universities, the students who have qualified grades will be awarded junior college diploma of ZUT. After two or three years’ study in ZUT, the students with high English level, brilliant academic records and good economic conditions can apply for further study in the cooperative university to get a Bachelor’s or above degree awarded by UNITEC.
